Meet Brett and Lindsey
Brett and Lindsey are both members of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and hold the designation of Nationally Certified School Psychologists (NCSP). They bring extensive expertise in psychoeducational assessment, emotional and behavioral regulation, social skills training, psychosocial education, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness practices.

Their work is grounded in evidence-based practices, with specialized knowledge in data-driven decision making, consultation and collaboration, child development, student diversity, effective instruction, school systems, prevention and intervention, mental health, learning styles, and program evaluation.

Brett Eavenson, Ed.S., NCSP
Brett holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri (2003). She earned multiple graduate degrees from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, including a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction (2008), a Master of Education in Counseling (2009), and a Certificate in School Psychological Examination (2015). She completed her Specialist in Education (Ed.S.) in School Psychology at Emporia State University in Kansas (2017).

With a background as a teacher, counselor, and school psychologist, Brett brings a well-rounded perspective to supporting students and school teams. She is certified as a School Psychologist in Michigan, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, and Alaska. Brett lives in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, with her husband, two sons, and their yellow lab. She enjoys snowboarding, hiking, biking, camping, and traveling with her family.
Lindsey Peterson, M.A., NCSP
Lindsey earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Colorado State University in Fort Collins (2006) and her Master of Arts with Certification in School Psychology from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff (2010). She has worked full-time as a school psychologist in public schools for over 15 years.
Lindsey holds school psychology credentials in Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, and Michigan, and maintains a current DORA (Department of Regulatory Agencies) credential as an “Unlicensed Psychotherapist” in Colorado. She lives in her hometown of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, with her husband and their two dogs. Lindsey loves spending time outdoors and attending live music events.
